ACTIVITIES

Our structured 5 day programmes are designed to introduce campers to New Zealand’s wide variety of outdoor activities. Campers' daily schedules are filled with numerous chances to learn new skills, develop new abilities, and increase their self-confidence. They participate in all programmed activities as a cabin group under the supervision of their camp leader and our expert activity staff. Participating as a group throughout the entire week allows campers to build exceptionally strong friendships and bonds with other campers their age. It's an incredible week that campers will never forget.

Kayaking
A tranquil kayaking experience, exploring the coves and sea life, maybe even paddle with the dolphins.

Swimming
Cool off by taking a swim in the ocean sea. Swim close to the shore, or for the more adventurous, swim out to the 2 floating rafts.

Sea-Biscuit
Enjoy a boat towing you in the water, aboard the “sea-biscuit”. Choose your speed – slow, fast, or superman fast!

Animals
Campers will have the opportunity to feed and interact with a variety of animals. Llamas, ostriches, chickens, horses, sheep, geese, ducks, and birds. Campers may also have the chance to see some of New Zealand’s wild life such as possums and wekas.

Bush Walks
Cleared walking tracks on our 550 acres of private land. Observe the native birds and trees. Get to the top, and view the miles of breathtaking scenery. Treks ranging from 1 – 4 hours.

Fishing
Fish with fishing rods from the jetty or spend an afternoon with Chris, “the snapper man”, in his fishing boat. Alternatively, set the fishing nets and gather your haul at the end of the day. There are plenty of fish to be caught.

Music
Learn to play an instrument or add to your existing talent. Our staff can teach you to play piano, guitar, drums, electric guitar, bass guitar, bongo drums, or to sing a song. Practice, and perform for the other campers during variety time.

Confidence Course
Test your physical ability by trying our confidence course. Have group races to see who will get the fastest time, or complete the course in your own time.
