Price
$190
per child.
The
$38 a day includes return bus and chartered boat transport, 5 days
accommodation, meals, all activities, and 24 hour supervision.
We
are a Charitable Trust and we accept donations from the community.
It is our desire that every child that wishes to attend camp has
the opportunity to do so. Please enquire about our concession price
if the cost is an issue.

What
Not To Bring
Gum, Alcohol,
Matches/Lighters, Cigarettes, Electronic Games, Pets, Cell phones,
Walkmans, Discmans, Stereos, Sickness—Please do not send your
child to camp if they are sick.
Drop Off and Pick Up Times
Drop
Off
The
bus from Blenheim to the Havelock marina departs from the Blenheim
train station at 9:00am sharp. Please be there by 8:30am for registration.
The
chartered boat from the Havelock marina to Tira Ora Lodge departs
Havelock at 10:30am. If your child is not arriving on the Blenheim
bus, please meet at the boat at 9:45am for registration.
Pick
up
- The
chartered boat from Tira Ora Lodge to the Havelock marina arrives
in Havelock at 3pm.
- The
bus from Havelock to Blenheim arrives at the Blenheim train station
at 4:30pm.
Staff
Our
staff members have extensive camp training and years of experience
working with kids of all ages. These highly qualified adults have
energy to spare and their outstanding leadership skills guarantee
campers unforgettable camp adventures. With a proven track record,
each is committed to providing kids with a safe, exciting and educational
experience!
Returning
and new staff alike attend intensive training sessions which include
sessions in child safety, accident and emergency procedures, emergency
and disaster procedures, staff code of behaviour, guidelines to
behavioural management, and conflict-resolution. Staff members are
screened to determine their ability to relate with campers of all
ages. Police checks are also carried out on staff members for additional
child safety.
No
